El Rey del Mundo Balthasar Báltico 2009. One of the classic Cuban cigars, El Rey del Mundo boasts a mixture of fine tobaccos and rich aromas. This is a release for the Baltic region, released in the year 2009. Hand-rolled with selected tobacco leaves from one of the highest quality tobacco farms in Cuba.
The 2009 Edicion Regional Baltico El Rey Del Mundo Balthasar is a regal-looking cigar. This is a Dobles vitola and is part of the Robusto Extra category. It comes in at a 50-ring gauge and is 6 and 1/8 inches in length.

The draw is firm. Decent air flow with a touch too much resistance. Chocolate cookies, honey, ginger snaps, leather and earth come from the cold draw.
Light cinnamon, ginger snaps, leather, earth, and touches of citrus to start. Strength is at a medium-bodied level. Beautiful combination with the right strength level. Divine start.
The draw is good and the smoke production is excellent. The burn is razor sharp and the ash is a ‘dirty’ white.
The retrohale is lush and vibrant. Delicate layers of cinnamon, light oak, ginger snaps, and citrus move easily through the nasal passages.
